Elżbieta Benkowska
Interested in the cinema since she got to know that Roman Polański’s birthday is on the same days as hers. Started shooting films on her 18th birthday when she got the first camera.
Piotr Brożek
Shoots, writes, performs, animates. Between 2008 - 2010 was a web animator in a centre „Brama Grodzka - Teatr NN” in Lublin - Laboratorium Edukacji i Animacji. Graduate of history at University of Maria Skłodowska-Curie, leader of Government of Humanistic Department.
Marta Grabicka
In addition to film she is interested in painting. Graduated from Orłowskie Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych with a title of technician photographer. Studies painting on the fourth year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, currently in a laboratory of professor Henryk Cześnik.
Filip Jacobson
Graduate of film studies at University of Łódź. Also studied Polish philology in Bielsko-Biała. Scholar of European Social Documentary Workshop EsoDoc in Italy.

He comes from a small town Lidzbark in Masuria. He graduated from The Halina and Jan Machulskis’s Acting School in Warsaw. He loves good, Polish cinema: Munk, Chmielewski, Chęciński, Bareja, Koterski, Machulski, Pasikowski - and he wishes to go in this direction.

Comes from Białystok. Hometown and Podlasie enthusiast.
His interest in film started with a Zenit camera, which he got as a presented for the First Holy Communion.
Łukasz Laskowski
Born in Gdynia.
At age 13 he decided to become a film director.
He is interested in cinema, fashion photography and running.
Łukasz Ostalski
Graduate of political science of Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Gdańsk and auditor of Sopockie Szkoły Fotografii WFH.  Multiple winner of competitions in press photography and more.
Michał Sołtysiak
Born in Kołobrzeg. Studied philosophy and journalism at University of Warsaw. Undertook doctoral studies in Szkoła Nauk Społecznych in Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of Polska Akademia Nauk. Graduate of Krakowska Szkoła Scenariuszowa.
Sławomir Witek
Graduate of history at University of Gdańsk. He worked as a camera operator and editor in Akademia Telewizji Edukacyjnej at University of Gdańsk. Currently is a freelancer. Cinematographer and editor of several educational films and documentaries and one music video.
9. Gdańsk DocFilm Festival
35 films from all over the world will be competing to win Brama Wolności Award during the 9. edition of Gdańsk DocFilm Festival [Godność i Praca/ Dignity&Work] which will take place from 4th till 8th May 2011. The Gdynia Film School is a partner of the festival.9. Gdańsk DocFilm Festival
Today is the last day to submit films for the Beautiful Twenty-Year-Olds Festival of Young Cinema which will be held from 14 to 16 April. The films can be submitted by the secondary school and university students. The jury will be composed of the two lecturers from the Gdynia Film School: Paweł Łoziński and Rafał Listopad.Beautiful Twenty-Year-Olds
