New lecturers at GSF

Joanna Kos-Krauze and Mirosław Bork joined the Gdynia Film School team. They will run the classes with first-year students who will begin their studies in October 2010 on Directing and Cinematography Department of GFS.

New lecturers at GSF

Joanna Kos-Krauze is a co-author of “Saviour’s Square” (with Krzysztof Krauze), a screenwriter and a director. She has won many prizes at film festivals in Poland and abroad, including Golden Lions at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Silver Spike on International Film Festival in Valladolid and Best Feature Film Award on International Film Festival in Trieste.

Mirosław Bork – a director and a producer. Between 1994-99 he was a director of the Television Agency of Theater and Film Production in TVP SA. Since 2006 he has been the artistic director of Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. The owner of Bomedia production company.

  • ”Saudade” in Short Film Competition of the 21st Neisse Film Festival

  • Wojciech Pokorski’s ”Saudade” will be presented in the Short Film Competition of the forthcoming 21st edition of the Neisse Film Festival to take place between May 14th-19th. The festival will open with “Elbow” by Asli Ozarslan, inaugurating this year’s Festival special Focus theme “Female Perspectives”.

  • “The Mandala” and “Mom Is Coming Back” at the Washington Polish Film Festival

  • Mikołaj Janik’s “The Mandala” and “Mom Is Coming Back” will be presented in the short films competition of the Washington Polish Film Festival. Organized by the Kosciuszko Foundation festival will be held between May 10th – 12th and will screen the selection of the brand new Polish films, including seven features and eight shorts.
